GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Acupuncture in the Netherlands falls under complementary medicine and is not a substitute for conventional Western medical care. If you have any health concerns, I always advise informing and keeping your GP or treating specialist updated. No rights can be derived from the content of this website.

Door het maken van een afspraak en het ondergaan van een behandeling, ga je akkoord met zowel de toestemmingsverklaring gegevensverwerking als de behandelovereenkomst.

APPOINTMENTS & PAYMENTS

Betaling vindt plaats direct na de behandeling via QR-code, betaallink of (alleen in overleg) een bankoverschrijving dezelfde dag. Voor een te late afzegging of bij no-show geldt betalen binnen 5 werkdagen d.m.v. facturering.

Het annuleren van je afspraak is tot 24 uur van tevoren kosteloos. Bij te late annulering of no-show wordt 100% van het behandeltarief in rekening gebracht, ongeacht of de behandeling heeft plaatsgevonden.

Betalingen voor pakketten of memberships worden direct bij aankoop voldaan.

Klachten over facturen dienen schriftelijk te worden ingediend binnen vijf dagen na factuurdatum. Klachten schorten de betalingsverplichting niet op.

Bij betalingsachterstand is de opdrachtgever van rechtswege in verzuim en is 1% rente per maand verschuldigd, tenzij de wettelijke rente hoger is. Alle kosten ter verkrijging van voldoening buiten rechte komen voor rekening van de opdrachtgever. Deze incassokosten worden berekend conform de Wet Incassokosten.

Met het maken van een afspraak (online of telefonisch) bevestig je je akkoord met deze Algemene Voorwaarden, de privacyverklaring en de behandelovereenkomst die gelden voor de behandeling.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Many health insurers fully or partially reimburse acupuncture through supplementary insurance. The amount reimbursed depends on your policy. Please consult your own insurer or visit Zorgwijzer. You must submit the invoice yourself for reimbursement.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

My intention is to guide you with care and attention. If any issues arise, feel free to share them with me. Together we will look at how to resolve them. The Journey of Ki is a member of the professional association Zhong. Through Zhong, there is collaboration with KAB and SCAG for complaints and dispute resolution.

Aansprakelijkheid

De behandelingen worden uitgevoerd volgens de op dat moment geldende professionele standaarden en inzichten.

De cliënt is verantwoordelijk voor het tijdig en volledig aanleveren van relevante informatie, zoals zwangerschap, medische voorgeschiedenis of medicijngebruik. De praktijk is niet aansprakelijk voor schade die ontstaat door onjuiste of onvolledige informatie van de cliënt.

De praktijk is niet aansprakelijk voor bijwerkingen die redelijkerwijs niet voorzien konden worden voorafgaand aan de behandeling. Evenmin is er aansprakelijkheid voor het uitblijven van het gewenste resultaat.

De aansprakelijkheid van de praktijk is beperkt tot maximaal tweemaal het factuurbedrag van de betreffende behandeling of, indien van toepassing, tot het bedrag dat de beroepsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering uitkeert.

De praktijk is uitsluitend aansprakelijk voor directe schade, waaronder redelijke kosten van vaststelling, herstel of beperking van schade. Indirecte schade, zoals gevolgschade, verlies van inkomsten of emotionele schade, wordt uitgesloten.

De uitsluiting van aansprakelijkheid geldt niet in geval van opzet of grove nalatigheid door de praktijk.

Indien derden bij de behandeling worden betrokken, is de praktijk niet aansprakelijk voor hun handelen.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

For proper treatment, I need to create a personal file. This is a legal obligation (Medical Treatment Agreement Act – WGBO). The file contains notes about your health condition and records of examinations and treatments performed. If relevant, I may – with your explicit consent – request information from other healthcare providers, such as your GP.

HOW I PROTECT YOUR DATA

I handle personal and medical data carefully, in accordance with the GDPR. Unauthorized persons have no access. Your data may, only with your permission, be used for:

Informing other healthcare providers, for example for referrals or after completion of therapy

Covering for me during my absence

Anonymized use for inter-collegial review

Financial administration (issuing invoices)

Communication via email

RETENTION PERIOD

Medical files are kept for 20 years, as required by law.

INVOICE INFORMATION

Invoices include the data required by health insurers:

Name, address, city

Date of treatment

Invoice number

Acupuncture performance code: 24104

Treatment costs

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete your personal data

Restrict or object to the processing of your data

Transfer data to yourself or, upon request, to another healthcare provider

If processing is based on your consent, you can always withdraw it.

I may ask you to provide identification before fulfilling your request.
